How To Accept Jesus Christ As Your Personal Savior
Simple steps to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior.
It is not God’s will that any should perish but that all would come to the knowledge of repentance.
- Acknowledge that you are a sinner. The Bible says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 nas God’s Word tells us that, ” All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way: But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.” Isaiah 53:6 nas We are sinners in need of a Savior, someone to bring us to God.
- God has prepared an answer. “For the wages of is death, butthe free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Though we deserve death because of our sin, God has provided a solution to our eternal problem.
- “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.” John 1:12 nas
- “…confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,” Rom 10:9 nas
Right now, while you are reading this, ask God to forgive you of your sins, confess that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Say it in your own words and according to God’s word you are saved.
God, I thank You that Your word is true, that when we ask for salvation You always honor Your promise. Amen.
The next step is to find someone and confess that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Now, find a body of believers in your area where you will be able to be strengthened in the faith and develop as a child of God.
